After you see this will you wonder how anyone could support the immigration bill?
Answer:
Have you heard the statements Trent Lott made about citizens calling his office to voice their concerns? He is mad as hell !
The Senate is committed to formally bringing back the Bush-Kennedy
amnesty bill possibly as early as this Friday--meaning we may
have precious time remaining to make our voices heard!
The Amnesty Gang (including Bush, Kennedy, McCain, Kyl, and Reid)
will introduce a new bill as a "substitute" of the last failed
bill. This allows them to bring the bill to the Senate floor
without going through committee -- just like the first
Bush-Kennedy amnesty bill.
This is where it gets shadowy. Harry Reid will employ what is
being called the "clay pigeon" procedure whereby all the
amendments are lumped together as one to limit the ability
of opposition to resist the bill!
What does all this mean?
It means that you and I and the rest of the citizens of our
nation have been sold out by an arrogant Senate that has
completely lost touch with the American people. Just listen
to the bristling arrogance of Senate Minority leader (and
Amnesty Senator from Mississippi) Trent Lott, who spoke to
reporters yesterday. "I've had my phones jammed for three weeks.
Yesterday I had three people answering them continuously all day.
To think that you're going to intimidate a senator or any
senator into voting one way or the other by gorging your phones
with phone calls -- most of whom don't even know where Gulfport,
Mississippi, is -- is not an effective tactic. But it's their
right to do that."
That's right, Trent, it is our right, and you are feeling it!
If you are really concerned about this AMNESTY Bill, go to www.grassfire.org and sign the petition. Then call, fax, email your state rep, and tell them to put this bill out to pasture !! It is our DUTY as American citizens to tell Congress NO AMNESTY !

Thanks for the link, now I'm pissed off all over again. We're past due for a revolution.
Uck.
Why do people believe illegals are needed...look at that!

I agree John. I think besides politicians, the only Americans who probably agree with this bill is those who have a personal want or agenda, like an illegal friend, family, boyfriend/girlfriend. What else could it be? Seriously, who else would be for this bull that Americans are supposed to help pay for? This should be our decision.
All I can say is HOLEY COW ! Can i sign up to be a Mexican! Just kidding. about becoming a Mexican... I will however stick with the holey cow statement. :)

here is another
i'm for the reform bill, but my mind has not changed.
and for "J.D'Ambrosio" video. I am not for those people who were stepping on the American flag. you would assume that I would be for that but it is not true. I am American of Mexican decent and I have marched for these immigrants but what those people were doing was wrong. I don't like them, they are the hardcore ones.
but one thing you cannot ignore is that fact that 12 million people cannot be deported, just watch, it will not happen. everyone is saying it. and these people cannot remain "illegal" in this country anymore.
It's a crying shame. I can't imagine. It's more, or less selling America out!
If we as a people don't stand up and demand that our representatives actually represent us and do what we want them to do, then we have no one to blame but ourselves. Immigration is just one in a series of bills and decisions that lawmakers are confronted with everyday, and they are often in direct opposition to the will of the people who have put them in power. Angry reactions to illegal immigrants doesn't solve the problem any more than their horrific behaviour makes them citizens. Tell your representatives what you want; don't just assume that they will know and do the right thing, then hold them accountable for their actions.
I agree with you. Also I want to say to I dont agree with ricmon87 and his answer. At the start of WW 2 we rounded up all the "Japanese-American" living in this country and held then until it was over. Thats what needs to be done with all the illegal immigrates and all the Muslims in this country now.
