What do you think of the skilled immigrants in the US?

If they followed our immigration law and came legally then I welcome them with open arms.
Not at all. 200 years ago, they were all immigrants.
They will only get to come to the country legally if there are more job than available man power.
So they are not stealing job from the citizens, they are taking the jobs nobody is able to do or won't do.
No, they are not stealing jobs, especially if they immigrate legally. That is the beauty of our country, if a foreigner has a skill set that can be useful and profitable in the U.S., they immigrate and use their skill to better their life and add quality to our economy. I'd rather have 1 million skilled naturalized foreigners than a million U.S. born schmucks who don't know their *** from a whole in the ground. Skilled immigrants make our country better.
Not if they become US citizens. If they get the jobs and take them back to their home country, they're stealing.
Most Americans realize that we need a healthy influx of immigrants to maintain economic viability - skilled and non skilled.
Any immigrant is welcome as long as they do it legally and assimilate into our culture and don't build car bombs.
We have some doctors in America that were planning some attacks (Florida area) so even skilled immigrants that come here legally are not interested in becoming Americans they're interested in taking America down.

They not only take jobs, but drive down wages and increase workloads for Americans. And you might want to learn and get healthy on your own cause teachers and nurses are next on the list to be replaced with cheap, foreign labor.
As long as they're skilled, speak English and are here LEGALLY and not burdening our already overwhelmed hospitals, welfare and social systems then I think they're fine - as I'm sure most people do. However, if they're sneaking over the Rio Grande to squeeze out a kid for free in a border hospital thereby jacking up the cost of medicine and services for all us hardworking tax paying types, or sneak over at the age of 72 to retire off of our social security system that they've NEVER PAID INTO and the like, then I think they're an absolute DISEASE.
As we have posted too many times to count, legal immigrants are always welcome.
