It's not that talking about immigration and even disagreeing with it that makes people racist, it is the comments that they make. I've read the following things:
Go to the border and shoot all those Mexicans.
Put mines along the Mexican border.
Keep out those dirty bloodsucking Mexicans.
(The list goes on and on). In fact I am sure that even postings under your question will contain some of this racist bigotry as well.
If you're against immigration because you think it's bad for the country...great, state that. But I am fed up with the hatred that is being spread on these posts by racist idiots.
I think Britain should have an open door policy. I'm trying to see how many thumbs downs i can get because I just cant be bothered if someone gives me one.
No open door policies!!! I am English not British and highly object the way in which this government seems to let all and sundry into this once proud country. I am sick, tired and fed up to the back teeth with demands for greater integration when Islamic ideas are being forced on us whether we like it or not. Even the Queen commented that a multi cultural society is good for this country. Yes it is just as long as they do not go setting bombs off on buses,etc. It has come to a stage whereby our traditional identity has gone and, here, in my home town, we are banned from owning piggy banks, playing traditional Christmas music because the Muslim community, which is huge, find it highly offensive and yet we are asked to observe Ramadan and eid el Mubarak which are festival I have yet to find belonging to any English society or in any English folklore or legend. Once again we have no voice because our right to free speech has been stripped away and I can honestly say that the white sweater brigade have much to answer for in their welcoming quest to the thieves and Asiatic vagabonds who have done nothing but add greatly to this country's criminal activities. Pensioners £54 per week. Non contributory claimants for resettlement £300 plus per week. You despicable traitors, shame on you all !
it looks like open door to me I would stop all immigration until we get the problem fixed and then keep a close eye on it when we startling them in .

the only abuse to come from this open door policy is that we the English nation are second class citizens in what was our own country,
