Immigration bill test vote 'too close to call'? Are you letting your Senators know how you feel about it?

Answer:
I am continuing to let my Senators, Feinstein & Boxer know that I consider the bill, as written, to be a vote for Globalism and Open Borders, and a huge financial liability for the middle class American taxpayers. I don't believe that the increased border security will ever be implemented. The current version of the bill states that the border security provisions are at the discretion Secretary of Homeland Security, who I believe has been directed by the administration to lower the priority of secuity on our borders to be in compliance with the direction of the SPP.
I did. I asked my congressman to stand up and vote with the people for a change, instead of cringing for votes and trying to get re-elected.
my senators wouldnt give a flying f--k what I thought. They decide how to vote on how it will affect their political future.
that's their sole and major concern.
The bigger question is do politicians even care what we have to say?
Damn skippy!!
Does it really matter when the president could care less what the majority of Americans feel.
Believe me people, they do care when the issue is this devisive. The congress would have loved to just pass this and make big business happy all the while screwing the people, but it is the outrage of the people that is holding them back. Go straight to the link below and find your senator and give them "what for". There is an election in 2008 and 1/3 of the senators are up for re-election. Find out about your state and make it clear to them that they will lose your vote in 2008 if they ignore the American people. They cannot be counted on to enforce our laws anymore.
Actually, they should know by now that I oppose this bill and why. But, just in case they still don't understand, yes, I'm still attempting to let them know.
No to cloture, no to shamnesty.
It seems that shortly after election, too many of our politicians forget the privilege they have been afforded by the people who elected them. The privilege of being one of the chosen few, elected to shape the lives of our children and our very own future. From watching the debate on C-SPAN over illegal immigration, it shows there are only two sides to this debate. On one side of the debate is a few potential candidates that would love the votes from over 20 million presently illegal’s. On the other side are the few levelheaded politicians explaining that our Social Security system can not handle the working baby boomers legal generation. Inevitably it would only be the working middle class that would sustain the great increase in just the food stamp DEMAND on the welfare system alone.
Yes I have let my senators know many times. Boxer actually changed her position and says she no longer backs the bill. But Feinstein won't budge, she said she hopes the bill passes.
Everyday and I do remind them that a yes on cloture is a yes for the bill.
Hourly!
I know what I have to do.
