How do I write to my governmental officials to tell them?

That I oppose all of the "new" policies in regards to illegal immigrants (i.e. college tuition, medical, welfare assistance and to the Bank of America people that are giving these people credit cards and bank accounts public education etc)

Now for those reading this posting I am not speaking about those who enter our borders legally / visas, sponsorship and assemilating to our laws and the like, just those who enter illegally, who break the law and so forth

Answer:
The federal government has a website that you can get on. You can get the addresses and telephone numbers and even print mailing labels for all these legislators. Citizens Protecting Your Rights suggests that everyone mail pink postcards to their members of Congress and the Senate at both the State and Federal Level. The reason we suggest postcards is because everyone who touches the postcard gets to read it. We have some pre-printed with messages that say you're fired and why and we have blank ones.

If you would like to get a stack of pink postcards and write your own message, you can call Citizens Protecting Your Rights at 630-373-1299 or write Citizens Protecting Your Rights, P.O. Box 2413, Aurora, Il. 60507-2413.

Citizens Protecting Your Rights is an all volunteer organization. We have no direct funding and no direct income. We inspire people to act and show them that it doesn't really take money to accomplish change. It takes backbone and hard work. So, if you would like to have postcards sent out to you, it would be nice if you would send just enough money to cover the cost of printing, materials and postage -- no labor. It would also be nice if you requested membership and became a working member of the organization. It doesn't cost anything to be a member -- just effort. Everything we do is volunteer and all materials are donated. Obviously, the government won't donate postage to us -- only to illegal immigrants and illegal immigrant support groups -- so we ask that the postage be supplied by you.

Citizens Protecting Your Rights is a constitutionally based organization that fights for the rights of citizens of the United States of America as well as law-abiding immigrants. We are pro-law enforcement and we depend on individual effort to get the job done. We are truly grass roots.

So, if anyone out there would like to help us set up a website that would allow people to interact with our organization, we would certainly appreciate the help. Contact the number above.

Thank you and all the others who are doing something to help the country -- even by asking these questions, you are taking a step to help get the word out!!!!!!

Oh, and by the way, it costs 24 cents to mail a postcard. Citizens Protecting Your Rights can print your message on a blank postcard and affix the labels and all you'd have to do is sign them and affix a stamp. $5 to $10 should cover all the costs (except 24 cent postage for each card you mail) for a package of 100 to 300 postcards and allow us to get more postcard stock and more mailing packages. No one in this organization is paid a salary! Everything is volunteer and every dime received is paid right back out in postage and materials to encourage others to get involved. We are putting together a group to travel to Washington DC to speak to Congress on the subject of the costs of illegal immigration -- political, actual, and taxes. More details will be available or you can call the number above. We are planning to go to Washington when hearings are being held for immigration. If we can get enough people to go, we will demand a hearing on our schedule.
