What my sister should do to get his Mexican boyfriend legally into US?

hi everyone! my sister pam is getting married soon to a mexican guy named carlos, but they have decided to live in the US, he's been in our country before but only as a tourist (legally), does anybody know which are the legal procedures for him to live here?, or at least where they can start?

Answer:
She needs to contact immigration!
Your sister and "his" boyfriend - I'm confused?
Always start the paperwork BEFORE he comes to the US!
If they marry, Carlos automatically becomes a US citizen.
Whats wrong with her moving to Mexico? This is such a terrible nation, who would want to live here? ;)
marry him
call immigrations and talk with them. your question reads
what my sister should go to get HIS mexican boyfriend legally into us? if your sister is a he, gross.
follow legal procedures
Have her go to the Home Land Security page and look for her answer. There are paperwork to do before the marriage and afterwords too. Then he can apply for entry to the US. It is a long legal process; but worth it. Good Luck.
after the wedding, your sister can apply a petition for him (petition for alien relative) and it is not that hard because carlos is her husband. try to open this website, it will help you.
U.S doesnt want him. To many Hispanic people are moving here.

tell him to go back. to mexico!,... ( maybe ur sister can move with him huh?)
marriage may make it right with god but not with immigration.

a married spouse of a US citizen (your sister is a US citizen, right?) can get a special Visa allowing them to be in the USA. this is NOT a green card or permanent resident status. after a 'cooling off' period, i believe is two years, the spouse can apply for a green card, which will give him the right to remain in the USA, even if not married.

naturalization is required if he intends to become a citizen of the USA, otherwise he remains a citizen of Mexico (or where ever he was born originally).

The US Department of State has information you need. go to http://travel.state.gov What they will need is Visa K-130 to allow the move to the USA.

FYI Mexico has regulations concerning getting married there, including residency requirements. A legal marriage in Mexico will be recognized in the USA. However, she can marry in the USA, using Visa K-129F for his visit.
Unfortunately just if your sister marrys him [if she is an US citizen] he will become one as well. It irritates me, because some people marry JUST to become a US citizen.

Why would your sister want to do that. Can't she marry an American? We have too many immigrants here already. Why doesn't she move to his country.

Does he know English?
They way you asked the question, you sister is a guy and therefore cannot legally marry somebody in the US. But if your sister is really a girl, then getting married is not just the only thing that must happen. There are many things that must happen but Immigration (which is part of the Department of Homeland Security now) would be the best place to start and ask.
Everybody knocks illegal immigration yet here is a person trying to do it LEGALLY. I see no problem with that.

I would have your sister ask the INS in her state what the proceedure is. Tell her fiance I hope he can make a speedy legal migration. bueno felicidad
collect any pictures that they have together, all the proofs possible to show inmigration that this is not a fraud, just because you are mexican they get in your case, after they get married, she has to file for him, and from there let's see what happens congrats, to your sister and I hope it will last forever.
