How do i go about getting a work permit for the U.S.A?

Ok i'm currently a british citizen and would like to work abroad in the U.S probably going to apply for the union pacific as i have a background in the rail industry

Just want to know about any information on what i should do

Answer:
You need to find an employer willing to petition for you either as a temporary or permanent employee. Here are some links to accurate information:

I would ask why should you need to. Why not go somewhere where your talents would be appreciated.
if u come across an ad or called for an railindustry, first of all apply with necessary documents
If you have money you can get ANYTHING you want in the U.S.A.

.
either apply for a permenant residency (which will go long) or try getting H1 visa, in the latter case you only need to find a company to hire you and support your application. good luck.
do like all the mexicans and just jump the border with no permit
