Flying international you need a passport,,walking or driving across the border is still up in the air, and if anything will be enforced , it is set for Jan.08
The use of a passport to cross the border into Mexico or to fly into Canada is still required unless you have documentation saying you have applied, but there is such a backlog.
I have to say this is what we get when we have bipartisan stupidity when it comes to requiring a passport to enter from Canada.
yes it's required.bush is trying to change our laws. and we Americans, true proud Americans will not let him change anything.
Yes, but you have to show a receipt showing you applied for one. Go to the US state department web page for the details. Also, you didn't have to by land until January, anyhow.
It stuck in my mind because I just paid outlandish amounts for expedited processing of mine, because they were quoting 10 to 12 weeks. Most of the people here probably weren't following it.
