With the immigration bill possibly set to pass or fail in the Senate this week — a crucial vote could come as early as Tuesday — the nonprofit group plans a fierce campaign against the bill and any senator who supports it.
The group will unveil TV ads against Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-N.C.). Another ad will target Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.)..

As we've discussed many times before DAR in my other life before suspension I believe in a bill but not what they have tried to turn it into.I've checked into your Visa Exit system and found you're right it's lacking.One of the questions I put before the board mentioned you and this idea as a place to start.Now unfortunately it's gone but I believe that along with better borders will be a start.Yes to say the least I think people are ticked at the bill.Even us Pro's.

I don't care that they are form faxes.they don't read them anyway.
I think they are effective, however, I write my on letters as I feel ditto letters are not as effective. I think many folk as lazy. This is not to say the organizations are bad. A lot of people would do nothing without them. I keep my money close to home.

I could be supportive of 3 bills.
First one that immediately and concretely sets into motion a program to secure our borders inviolably while increasing attempts to capture and deport illegal aliens, especially the "criminal aliens" who've already been deporting for violent crimes, sex crimes, id theft, drugs, gangs, etc.
A 2nd bill increasing the penalties for employers of illegal aliens.
Later after that was done, and the influx of illegals stopped, and we were reasonably assured it will not happen again,
then bill 3 to decide what to do with the remaining. Intense investigation and deportation efforts would greatly decrease the numbers by then as many would leave on their own. In 1954, during a nationwide sweep, nearly 10 times as many left voluntarily that were actually captured and deported.
I support all the letters, calls, faxes and communiques by any means to our government. The more the better. Be heard.
The illegals have advocacy groups who have spoken, burned our flags, called us racist.

Grassroots organizations are effective and are a tool used by many people. The ones you have named are large and established but there are also some new ones who are having a great impact.
I personally can't wait to see the ads against those Senators (and George Bush should be included) because even though both sides generally agree that this particular immigration reform bill is flawed beyond repair they still continue to push this bill.
I know people are ticked. I know alot of great Mexicans that were either born here or came here the hard way that are more ticked than I am. NumbersUSA, is right on the money.
These sites`, along with NewsMax.com are very effective as they tell the truth ! They print facts that you can check out for yourself and prove the validity of their statements ! Unlike the Bias` Liberal Media that will print a lie and swear to it and tell you its` true because they know that the people that bother to read or listen to their rants are to lazy to double check them and call them out on their lies` ! Right now there are Marines that were reported by TIME Magazine to have massacred 24 civilians at Hiditha in a "get even" murder spree ! Well , guess what ? Now the incident appears to have drummed up by the author of this article ! All the Marines have told the story the same way , and all have taken lie detector test , and all have passed . The TIME Magazine author will not take a lie detector test and his credibility has all but dissappeared ! Yes, I think they are effective, but not as effective as individuals contacting their representatives, something I do on a regular basis. I am keeping a file of responses I received from my representatives so I can remind people what they said to me. I plan to open my file at election time...
