When I enter USA from Canada (UK passport holder) how long will the visa be for?
Answer:
As long as you get a stamp on your passport when you go in and out you are a - ok.
Good Luck.
As a UK subject, you don't need a visa to enter the USA. What you have, on the basis of the Immigration Agreement of the USA for UK persons, is a permit for a stay of 90 days or less. Travelling to a neighbouring country DOES NOT extend the original 90 day permit granted when you entered. If you have valid reasons to stay, contact the US Immigration Service for further guidance.
dummy go back to your country we have too many illegal immigrants here we don't need anymore welfare drainers
The visa waiver process, which allowed you to enter the USA without first applying for a visa is designed to allow you to visit the USA, not to live here. What you are suggesting is an abuse of the process and there is a very good chance you will be refused entry and will then have to make your own way back to the UK from Canada. If this happens you will be banned from using the visa waiver process again and will not be able to visit the USA without applying for a tourist visa from the US Embassy in London.
To use the visa waiver process or to get a tourist visa you need to be able to demonstrate strong ties to your own country. eg having a job to go back to, owning property, having a lease on property. If you have already spent 3 months in the USA and plan to try to stay longer it's unlikely you can do this.
