Why are we giving illegal mexicans mexican I.D. cards?

We have to blame our government for not allowing law enforcement to enforce our immigration laws. Just think how fast the lines at the DMV would be if illegals weren't here! That's why we must deport them all, and support the Border Patrol in their effort to secure the border.
It's the American way !

The fact that illegal immigrants pay taxes at all seems to come as news to many Americans. But did you know that a stunning two-thirds of illegal immigrants pay Medicare, Social Security and personal income taxes. I don't think that immigrants are flocking to the United States to mooch off the government. According to a study by the Urban Institute, the 1996 welfare reform effort dramatically reduced the use of welfare by undocumented immigrant households, exactly as intended. And another vital thing happened in 1996: the Internal Revenue Service began issuing identification numbers to enable illegal immigrants who don't have Social Security numbers to file taxes.
One might imagine that those fearing deportation or confronting the prospect of paying for their safety net through their own meager wages would take a pass on the IRS' scheme. Not so. Close to 8 million of the 12 million or so illegal aliens in the country today file personal income taxes using these numbers, contributing billions to federal coffers. No doubt they hope that this will one day help them acquire legal status—a plaintive expression of their desire to play by the rules and come out of the shadows.
Because they're such a nice people. That's why.
And we need them. Right ?
You already answered it, they need to bring every source of identifications to prove they are who they are, so they need identification cards.
As for giving illegal immigrants identification cards.
The fact is that they are only illegal 'officially', however they are 'unofficially' as legal as the rest of the United States of America.
I demand a driver license! and a Credit card. At least!
We the undocumented need to drive does not matter what. We all need to pay taxes and go shopping, so we need to use credit. We all need cars, and we all need to drive to our jobs.
