How can any of us think that we should be stopping them from being here. our country was built by people that were considered illegal immigrants by the peoples who had the soverneity of this land,native americans.(indians).now we are doomed to reap what we have sown.i say if they want to come here and be americans and pledge their allegiance to america so be it.

I feel that they r breaking the law being here,hints the word "illegal".if u or I were to break the law there would be consequences to pay,jail,probation-something.. what about the fact that if they pay no taxes!.that chaps my a*s more than anything else!...we have to pay pay pay that damn IRS yet they get off scott free! Also why should they come to our country and not speak English?.even the ones that know how to still don't use it,it's RUDE! Then we have to go learn to speak Spanish so that we can get better pay because there r so many of them here that can't communicate with us.well that's not our problem if they weren't here ILLEGALLY in the first place we wouldn't have to worry about this!.Does my heart go out to them,sure it does,but bottom line is it's not our fault they were born there & we were born here,just like it's not rich peoples fault they were born with lots of $$$$ and other people were born with out a penny to their name!

I actually wrote you a very well thought out, long presentation
on what I feel about illegal immigration, and just when I started to type it out my stupid dog jumped up on the counter and ate it.Sorry.
I'm not into speech writing, but I will tell you how I feel. I don't have a problem with immigration at all..after all, ALL of us sprang from immigration, and that IS how this country was founded. The problem is we have so many people now, we can't keep track of them, and having a whole pile of illegals running in and out just complicates the issue. However, this is where the government comes in. 1) For all those families who are here because they want to be here and want to be part of the American dream, we should be helping them to become legal. 2) For all those people whose families are living in another country, and they only want to come here, work for a few months, and go back home..we should be providing them with a temporary work vista of some sort.
There are a lot of people who need social services, and we can't help them if we can't find them. That's why everybody here needs to be documented in some form or fashion.

too much to write! since we are all immigrants truthfully!! but gov made white legal cause at the time the gov was white too and had the big guns!lol!! the originals that came across in the biggining were asian .came across multiplyed and seperated into tribes . now called native amerian indians these where before us . ok how do i feel about illegal immigrants? i feel bad! we all dint originate here, they are excluted because of gov prejudice from way back! so much better if we all just get along!! . an american wishing for peace no prejudice .
