Have a look in the IND web page they removed the English part as they said that if you need to have a good level of English to be able to do the living in the UK test. The cost of this test is £35 and you need the book which cost £10
There is no english test anymore. The reasoning is if you can do the life in the UK test (in english) then your english is good enough to qualify.
This rule applies from April 7th this year.

Hard luck. My wife didn't have to sit that test when she got her citizenship. She missed it by a matter of months.
