Question about the k1 visa?
Can i get married in my country with my american spouse once the k1 visa is approved or should i wait to get the fiance' visa and get married in the USA?
Answer:
A K-1 visa is a fiance/fiancee visa. If you get married in your country, before coming to the USA, then you are no longer a fiance and your K-1 will be no good.
After you get your K-1 visa you come to the United States. Once here you'll have 90 days in which to get married.

On the K-1 visa it is advisable to come into the US to be married.because that is the reason for that particular Visa...now if you had wanted to get married in your own country your petitioner should have applied for the K-3 Visa...however the K-1 visa is currently moving faster than the K-3 is...so keep things the way they are now.
