I have green card, my husband doesn't. Is he will be deported? we have been married for 1,5 years.?
Answer:
He can get a green card through your marriage if you are a legal U.S. resident - Has he lived in the U.S. for 5 uninterrupted years? If so, you can apply for naturalization.
I've provided you with links, hope they help.
Is he here legally?
does he have a work permit? If not, he'd be deported if busted. Please go start the process. Don't wait until the last minute!!
You both need to go back to your own country
Sorry for the vague answer, but you really need to go to an immigration lawyer. She will know what questions to ask you and everything you say will be confidential. This is too important to deal with impersonally. If you need help finding an attorney, email me.
He might be deported, yes.
you forgot to mention if hes here legally or not.if you meant one and a hlaf year then most likely he is here legally on some permit or visas.
and he would have to go back once his visas expire. even though there might be many solutions to this problem but i can only think of one...if you have been the country for more then 5 years then you can apply for citizenship at which point all his visas or permits will 'reset' and he would have to wait 3 years to file for the citizenship.
If he is not in the country legally then yes, he can be prosecuted, deported and denied entry for 10 years. If he is here illegally then it does not matter if he is married to an I-151 or US citizen he is here illegally.
If your husband was going to deported, you have a choice go with him or don't. Your choice would tell him how you really feel about him.
I can't for one second think that should even be an issue if you love this man. Just by you asking I don't think you do!
you need to give more details about your situation. Is he under petition? If he is not then he is deportable. What you need to do is file a petition for him, I-130. you can follow this link for it.

Also, you need to apply for citizenship to expedited his process. You need to file a N-400; you can find it here:

good luck to both of you
