Will my boyfriend ever be able to join me in the UK?
Answer:
Don't lose you hope! First of all, he should apply for an entry clearance as fiance or come as a tourist or student. That would give him some time to look for work, and make his connections here in UK. If he manages to find work, he could get the company to apply for a work permit here, and his situation would be stable.
My situation was a bit different from yours. My boyfriend, who now is my husband, had been living in UK for 3 1/2 years. We met when he came back to our country to renew his visa. One year later, I came as a tourist to visit him and find out if our relationship had a future. Later that year we got married, and we've been happy for almost 3 years now. But marriage should be always for love, never for convenience. I'm sure things will work out for you! Best wishes.
he will have to apply for a visa, get him to go to his consultant.
They will tell him everything he will need to know
Good luck
First of I need to your visa status. If you are British National. Then it would not be a big problem for you to invite him. He can apply for visit visa for six months and can renew it later on. Another opnion is from my side is: marry him and and he can come here on spouse visa and can live with happily. It is not a tough situation. If you still have problem simply send me a message on my email.
Go And live your live happily. Cheerssss.
Well sorry to but in here, BUT it would be easier and best if you joined him in his country of origin, no offence, but "GOODBYE"
I suspect I'll be slated for this but why do these posts always ask how to get someone into the UK, never how to go to their country?
Ask yourself this: Assuming he DOES get authority to come here, how long do you think your relationship will last once he's got his British passport...! ! !
he's only your boyfriend until he's got his passport in his pocket
Dont be fooled, my daughter had the same problem but he got his visa in the end and then just used and abused her.
I'm sorry about all the negative answers. He could come as a tourist if he can satisfy the normal requirements - enough money to pay for his stay and an unambiguous intention to return at the end of it. A letter of invitation from you could help. A student visa would be good, but he would have to pay for a course at a legitimate educational institution, and be able to fund himself while here - but he would be allowed to work part time.
If your relationship is serious, he could apply to come as a fiance to marry you, or you could get married over there and he could apply to join you as your husband. Both applications require that you can support and accommodate him, although after marriage he could work. After two years of marriage he could apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain.
Alternatively, you could marry and live over there for four years, after which you could come back together, but you need to find out if the requirements of you supporting him still apply.
You do need to be sure about what you're getting into; it is quite true that many people have married only to find that once Indefinite has come through, they are neither loved nor needed any more.
