I moved from north Florida to Miami Florida about a year ago and I am trying to learn how to speak Spanish, but this is a two way street! I am so sick and tired of hearing people get angry with me and demand to know why the heck I don't speak Spanish and I am trying. At the same time I don't understand where you get off saying to English speakers that we should learn your language because you don't want to put in the effort to learn English. This country is an English speaking country if you don't like it then you can shut up and move somewhere else that fits your requirements. If you want to speak Spanish that's one thing but you should learn English as well, you cant expect to move to a country that is an English speaking country and then say i refuse to learn your language so you have to speak mine and then when people start saying no you pull the discrimination card. Also if it was such a concern to you to live in a country that speaks all Spanish then maybe you should go back to your home country! Honestly though I don't think that anyone other than the Native Americans should have the right to b**** about the language used in America. I am sorry if I offended anyone but it just angers me to be told that I have to learn another language just to be able to hold a job or to function in any situation that involves human beings.

The spanish spoken these days isn't even actual spanish. Its Spanglish. A person can take classes and learn how to speak Spanish, try to talk to a person who is fluent in Spanish and not be able to hold a conversation.
