I feel that calls, emails and faxes to Senators are working. I have been very active in contacting both of my Senators and made sure they knew how I felt. And I am very happy to say that they both voted the right way and on top of that one is Republican and the other Democrat. Make those calls, they do matter. Illegal immigration must be stopped.
Nope..I know personally, I have written soooo many times to my Senators. It doesn't anyway for the majority, because that is all you hear on the news is what the minority want and it seems that they are the ones who get their way ALL the time. But I'm glad it is working in your State. But not this one.

Politicians of both parties will say anything you want them to say to get elected and to keep their jobs. Emails and letters mean nothing. All politicians take their orders from the special interest groups that own them body and soul. It costs a bunch to get into congress or the senate. Special interest groups provide that money, but once you are in, you are theirs. Boxer may have simply been told to stop backing that bill. Or, more likely, she is telling you what you want to hear perhaps because she has not received final orders from her owners

Mine are as my politician in my area has voted FOR the immigration bill. (which is what I wanted - and I have been calling and sending emails, and faxing letters as well) And we are keeping up the calls and letters and emails as well.
