Is it a felony if you are caught in the US after you have already been deported?

I heard it was, and you could be sent to prison for up to 29 years. Does anyone know if this is the case?

Answer:
They get a pass as no 1 wants the media,ACLU, lawyers, by the hundreds, bleeding hearts, an all the pro amnesty groups, suing them. If your A CITIZEN an get arrested for anything your in jail.Criminal illegal aliens get a pass don't want 2 get sued.We would have 2 hock our life away 2 make bail less have a attorney. Some don't even get arrested even if they don't have a DL when stopped.Just let go 2 much paper work an the city might get sued. Or ICE won't come an get them.
Yes it is a felony and yes you can go to federal prison.
Yes, and it is 20 years. However, that sort of felony wouldn't keep you from being legalized under the Senate Bill. Only defined AGRAVATED felonies would do that.
Yes it is and there are stiff penalties for getting caught over and over. Often though they just deport them and back they come.
Take me back every day for a week and then finals made it. I Have got no record. I have no papers. Will you hire me. Hell yes you will. Will you pay me what I am worth Hell no.
