Can I go to Australia if I was deported from Canada?

I lived and seeked asylum in Canada but my case was rejected and now I am in my home country wishing to go to Australia on a student visa, will the past deportation affect my situation or it won't have no affect.

Answer:
Sorry, no. Australian Law Enforcers require any immigrant to be of good character before applying for Aussie citizenship. Being deported from a Commonwealth country automatically makes one ineligible for citizenship in advance, independent of any skills you might have.
Yes,i am afraid you are on a loser here mate, they are very, very strict on who receives a visa.I would forget it.Try Britain, that would be an easier touch.
