I wan to get married but my visitor visa expired like 2 years ago what should i do ?

Answer:
dont bring it up around these folks....
Renew it......
get married in your country???
why would you want to live in the USA
Go home.....
You are in trouble.

I guess that the best way would be to return to your country of origin and that your fiancee requests the paperwork to be done so you can come back.

It'll take a while though.

My two cents
What does your visitor visa have to do with anything...........HEY DONT YELL AT ME!!! I AM JUST A KID!!!!!!!!!

Kelly
go back to where ever you came from, and get a new visa.
i think once you get married to a citizen of where you live now, you would automatically become a citizen right?
renew your visa or just go to las vegas and get hitched quick... renewing is recommended i dont know if they will allow you to just get married with out your visa...
Well if your marrying a citizen then just go and get married and that automatically makes you a citizen. I think thats how it works but I may be wrong.
GET OUT AND GO HOME !!!!!!!
YEAH LIKE EDUARDO SAID GO HOME AND TAKE EDUARDO WITH YOU
You are an illegal alien. From what I know, as soon as you exit the US, you won't be able to enter the US ever again.

I say, get married in the states and get your papers in order. You need an immigration lawyer. Google it up.
You are in the US yeah? you need to go home, get married to your fiance there, and then he/she can come back to the US and file a I-130 form for you, so you can get a K3 visa and come to the US. as long as you are not doing something illegal (such as you are now..assuming you are in the US) then things will be fine and it should take anywhere from 4-10 months. Oh yeah, and you need to have a valid tourist visa so you can go back and forth to the appointments in the US that you need to go to...such as medical exam, finger printing etc..

If you are discovered to have been here illegally, you are in a deep mess. I mean, how are you going to explain how you met your wife? or what you've been up to for the last 2 years. come to think of it, you need an immigration lawyer. i'm not sure why you didn't think about something like this earlier, now because you didn't follow the rules, you may have to live without the person you want to marry, or make them move to your country with you
Go back home afore you get caught.
YOU SHOULD GO HOME, AND TAKE YOUR WOULD BE SPOUSE WITH YOU.
Unfortunately, with the expiration of your Visa, you are here illegally, and in the light of recent events, the government frowns upon that. Even if you got married tomarrow, they may send you back by force. This unfortunate event happened recently to a local woman...she got married, they had a child, and several years later the government believed she lied on her application for a work Visa, so they sent her home, giving her family the choice of either being motherless, or following her to her country of origin.

You will have to go back to your country of origin and get another one. Unfortunately, you may have to wait a while. A friend of ours ended up having to follow his fiance to Sweden and marry her there, as her work Visa had expired and, by law, she was not be able to re-apply for some years. Even now that they have been married for some years, she still cannot obtain either official citizenship nor another work Visa. She can only come back in the country (with her husband and their children) to visit his parents.

You just might be out of luck.
Go to http://www.uscis.gov/

Reapply for somthing. Is the person you're marrying American?
Why not apply to be a citizen?

I have shared this information with other persons:

Immigration forms and informaion may be obtained here:
http://www.uscis.gov/
This part of the website is deticated to visitors to the U.S.: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/m...

This is a U.S. government website contains information about immigration, "Who" to contact, renewing and obtaining green cards, obtaining citizenship, as well as differen't types of Visas and GUEST PROGRAMS that permit persons from other nations to visit and stay in the united states legally for short term or extended periods of time with even the posibility of becoming a citizen. Any information you may require can be found on this website, including information on how to obtain the forms.

I'm sure you'll figure it out. You don't want to get into legal trouble and lose your chances of ever getting another visa again. You could return home for a while and try again like the others suggested.
No, don't leave! Definitely contact an immigration lawyer and talk about your case. There are pentalties of overstaying your visa, and if you left, you could be lock out for up to 10 years. Don't ask immigration workers or yahoo for something this important- it'll cost about 100 bucks to talk to an immigration laywer for an hour, but it will be the best 100 bucks you could spend.
You are an overstay.
It's no real problem.
No matter how long the overstay, a marriage will cure the overstay, so long as it occurs before a Notice to Appear (NTA) to the immigration court.

At least you have a way to get a green card now.
Don't listen to anyone who tells you to go home, unless you interpret that as meaning to your house/apt here in the US.

Get married and file your full Adjustment of Status packet (I-130, G325A, I-485, I-864 and see a civil surgeon for a check up (I-693). Use the links previously provided by others to USCIS for your free forms.

Obviously, this assumes that you don't have any criminal problems which could make you inadmissible or deportable. See an immigration lawyer if you fall into this category.

I had somebody stop by once who had been here 15 years as an overstay. She originally entered the US legally, had never been caught during her period of overstay, so everything was fine. She stayed here in the US, filed her papers, adjusted her status and received a green card. No problem whatsoever. We didn't even garner a dirty look from the USCIS officer.

By the way... see a immigration lawyer just the same.

Anything I wrote previous is NOT legal advice and you are a looney (WooWoo) if you rely on advice given by complete strangers on the Internet regarding complex legal issues.
