Whats up with I like immigrants as long as they're legal?
The reason is that they need money, to try and come legally would take several years meanwhile they're families would starve. During the wait, people who are trying to get a green card or visa will never get it because in order to get one of those you need to OWN A HOUSE OR HAVE MONEY IN THE BANK! Thats the main reason why people come illegally. If people had a house or had money in tha bank they'd probably wouldn't come to the U.S. Now, what's your opinion?

I think that people come to the U.S. illegally is because the country of their origin has let them dowm immensely. For example, let's say Mexico. If Mexico would fix their government and think of their residents, people would not leave. But there is so much corruption there, I don't know how it could be fixed. This is all the corrupt countries of the world's faults and its politicians. It's really disgusting. No person in their right mind would stay at their country and be treated unfairly by a greedy, corrupt govenment. Of course people would leave at all cost, even enter the U.S. illegally.

What about all that money they send home so they can have a better life in Mexico and to help the Mexican Economy . They don't pay income taxes and we pay more because of their children over crowing the schools .

Yes I admit that illegal immegrants are breaking the law, but many forget that they often have no choice, like you said! However I'm not condoning law breaking, but its like to me a fraudster is not so much a criminal as a murderer.
They pay sales tax NOT income tax.

1st and foremost These people you are referring to as immigrants are Illegal Aliens, to be an Immigrant one must go through the process of Immigration.
2nd They have broken the law by coming here.

That's what someone who Breaks into this country is doing stealing, Jobs that others could have, we always worry about the unemployment rate, if the Illegals didn't take the jobs they did unemployment would drop by at least 2% points.
They need those things because the idea is to attract GOOD immigrants. In general poor people are less educated and a greater strain on the economy and societies services.
Many people who work illegals pay them in cash. I work in a hospital many Mexican illegals come in from "on the job injuries" . There is no workers comp, the employers deny any knowledge of them, and his co workers don't complain or find a lawyer to help because "The Boss will get immigration on them and their families".
Business uses these desperate people for their own profit.
Just as these people tax services (The hospital does not get money for treating these people).

I do sympathize to the plight of the poor and starving Mexican families. Although you implied that sales tax is the ONLY tax in USA, you are mistaken my mexican friend -- The worst is income tax. Every dollar you make is tax deductible if you are legal, I'm sure you've seen a W-2 Form? So the mexicans need money too, we understand that -- Its the simple concept of our work being taxed MORE because illegal under the table jobs are NOT TAXED. Legitimate US citizens need money as well, and shouldnt have to be burdened with the excess taxation because of people who had no legitimate right to be here in the first place. If in fact illegal immigrant's were taxed on their income and alleviated the straining tax burden on the every-day American person -- I am sure no one would even care! It would also be great if we could communicate with them, I respect culture of every country and race but if I can't ask them what time it is in the native recognized language of my own country and get a valid anwser..it makes it difficult to enjoy someones company when you can't understand each other. If illegals got taxed (making current citizen tax lighter), and learned to speak english, then I am sure everyone could work side by side and there would be no issue. Once those reforms take place, there will be more tolerance for the issue at hand.
Why don't they stay in their own country and raise hell until it changes instead of coming here illegally and raise hell with us? I'm sure you recall seeing Mexican flags in the streets of America this past year carried by protesters demanding amnesty (that was the absolute dumbest thing to have done because it rallied America firmly against you). Well carry those same flags to Mexico City and demand jobs, food, and housing! If as many would show up there as showed up in our streets, change would come to Mexico! Fast.

1. they come over here to work, without paying taxes.. taxes like FICA (that I pay), taxes like medicare (again, that I pay), taxes like Social Security taxes (again, which I pay) they DO go on welfare... walk into the local office.. look at the line.. for that matter, go into walmart and stand behind them when paying for groceries. 2. SALES tax is a given.. everyone pays it when purchasing something.. they aren't going to be applauded for doing that small thing. 3. If paid under the table, do tell, who is reporting these social security taxes being paid? I bet NOT the employer who is paying illegally. getting used... how so. they are bleeding this country dry.. We are being used... my tax dollars are being used. my children's education is being used. 4. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR COMING HERE ILLEGALLY!!! they have families that will starve. tell that to the mom that hasn't received her child support check, EVER... tell that to the disabled Vet that gets the run around from VA and the Social Security office..

My opinion is that we need limits on immigration because our schools are overcrowded and failing our own children and they have no rights to come above our limits and take education from our children just because they want what we pay for (school etc) for their families. Limits means after the number we allow, the answer is NO. Their families are not more important than ours, and we are footing the bill.
The poorer they are, the less they can off set their costs with taxes, as well.
