Anyone emigrated to Australia from Uk?

I just wondered if anyone that has actually experienced emigrating to Australia from the Uk could state positive and negatives that they have experienced please?

also any tips.

Answer:
My younger brother emigrated with his wife and little 'un 3 weeks ago.

The positives are the weather for starters ! Also the culture is much more laid back, and house prices (in general) are cheaper than in the UK.

The downside is having to start over again, looking for accommodation/ jobs etc.

He made sure he had enough money for them to last a least 6 months comfortably just incase things don't go to plan, but he has just got a palce to rent and had an interview already.

Good on him, and good luck if you do the same.

Hope that helps
my aunt she has been there for years I am 29 and she has been since long before I was born. She loves it.
Well I am biased because I am Australian but I am going back in 2 weeks after having lived in England for about 18 years and I cannot wait. The only thing you will really miss about the UK is your family and friends. Trust me.
