Can this be a true story at the Sri Lankan Immigration and Emigration Department in Colombo (Sri Lanka) ?

As shocking or surprising as it may seem, the foreign spouse of a Sri Lankan does not seem to enjoy any marital rights in this country. The foreign man or woman who marries a Sri Lankan is on a very short leash and could, quite legitimately, be kicked out of the country [even after the first night] on the local spouse informing the Controller of Immigration & Emigration to cancel his or her wife’s or husband’s Spouse Residence Visa (SRV).

Answer:
I believe it is a wrong observation.
Its not true. There is terrorist group in Sri lank(LTTE).They
telling all kind of lies to the world. This is one of it.I think this law is only have Russia.
hmmm.. I seriously doubt that this information has any validity. The marital laws in Sri Lanka are pretty tight. And divorce is not as common as in the western countries. So I doubt if this information is correct.. that is, unless the spouse was involved in any illegal activity?
throw them all out
