If a US company wants to employ me, even tough I am not resident, this company can ask the green card for me ?
Answer:
The company that sponsors you to the US must help you obtain the type of work visa you'll be hired under; this is simply a means of legally entitling you to be employed and pay taxes in the US. This is because they have to prove that there is no qualified individuals within the country's borders that can do the job for which they are hiring you. It can be a relatively expensive and time consuming process.
They are NOT required to help you with permanent residency or citizenship applications. (Most respectable companies will have some form of aid for you, though!)
Certain types of work visa do NOT allow you to apply for permanent residency either, since most are deemed "for temporary employment only". Be careful which visa is being offered! And all are only valid for certain periods of time - some are renewable, others are not (or are only renewable a certain number of times).
Lastly, you must already be a permanent resident to apply for citizenship.
they can sponsor you but you still have to get in line
the line depends on what what your skills are and what you contribute to the company
If they sponsor you, they will have to help you to get the green card and a social security number.
The Company should apply for a H1B visa for you... they are easy to get & the company needs only to state that you have a skill not easily obtained here in he US. Sometimes the company simply hires a foreign worker & then files for a temporary work visa as they transfer that employee to the US.
Multinational Corporations can quickly push through any visa & they have people whose job it is to do that. I have worked in 28 differing countries (Including the USSR & Eastern Block countries back in the cold war) & have never had a problem getting a visa.
