Neither party, republican or democrat, has the balls to actually do something about illegal immigration. They are politicians and they are afraid of losing the hispanic and liberal vote. So here we are with millions of illegal aliens and more coming every day. We have to show the politicians we are fed up and not going to take it anymore. Write e-mails, join rallies, make phone calls, etc. We have to act now or we will lose America.
You have to realize, that Bush has allegence to his supportors. The main reason that illegals are over here is because of NAFTA. Corporation in the USA can't compete with overseas slave labor, so they have to import slaves to the USA. These slaves are poor and come from countries where they have a very slim chance of ever getting anywhere because the rich in their country want it that way. The USA is seen as the place of equal opportunity.
well, that's because bush took your national guard and shipped them off to iraq. that should have been your major concern. not some of our neighbors fleeing from poverty and oppression.
I do believe that conservatives were "light" in the last election to send the Republican party a message. Believe me, the Dems didn't win because of any "ideas" they had. The most important domestic issue is illegal immigration and you can see that playing out in the Republican debates. This has been one of my disappointments with Bush. However, no President has addressed this issue properly. And no Dave, we do not need as you call it "slave labor" here in the US. The reason many companies find it hard to compete is due to unions destroying the industries they supposedly support. You do realize that Toyota and Honda both manufacture 80% of their vehicles sold to the US in the US? Also that 80% of the parts for those vehicles are also manufactured here in the US. (you can find this info in February's Consumer Reports)
How is it they can make a superior product in the US using US manufactured parts and US labor? hint... NO UNIONS.
HOWEVER... the biggest issue is our Nations security, not the price of a head of lettuce. The only way this nation is a place of equal opportunity is if people follow the law.
Help get rid of the Federal Reserve Bank(or at least bring in competition against it) and the IRS. the illegal immigrants are not the slaves lady, we are and have been for quite some time. there are two forms of government currently operating within the United States. One is running under the name "Democracy". And the other is a "Constitutional Representative Republic". want to take a guess which one is causing us all the problems? As far as electing democrats into Congress, That basically took us from the frying pan and threw us directly into the fire. The dems really want amnesty for illegals. Why? To move them from actually being free right now to becoming a personal corporate entity(i.e. citizen)in our fair "Democracy." Are you getting it now? And yes Unions are a part of this, but they fully support "Democracy" only, hence look at the problems. Trust me, you'll see it. We only have one stone and we must kill two birds. Few know how. My idea is to teach everyone how to use that one stone. how you use it from that point is totally up to the individual. Logic says the way they use it will be correct regardless.Why? Because the truth will make the difference.That one stone by the way is "Knowledge". And the device (i.e weapon) to transform its potential into reality is the mind.
