Answer:
Yes...but most of us are bored talking about it because it just degenerates into an argument about racism versus pragmatism.
The trouble is...the racists do use this problem in order to advance their views, and the liberals attack those views and are made to look as though they don't care about illegal immigration.
So we get nowhere even after this question and the thousands of identical questions that have preceded it!
We give them keys to new houses, some benefits and the tax credits helpline number!
we put them in home made gas showers but they just keep tunneling out
We give them money and houses whilst our teenage single mothers are living in hostels with heroin and crack addicts.
Gives them free housing and money and doesn't send them back to where they have come from.They pass through many oher countries before they reach here but they see us as a soft touch. The Government has no idea how many illegals are here and evenif they did they wouldn't do anything about it.
they deport them back to thier country it happened to someone in my nieghbour hood oh and by the way americans are illegal immigrants themsleves! its not like the own america they stole it!
We shoot them, turn them into Soylent green and eat them.
Deportation to the last country they were in, provided it is not a war zone, or where they may face persecution.
Personally, most of the morons I deal with who complain about the immigrants coming to steal "our" jobs, wouldn't know work if it came and bit them. (eg. "I'd love to work, honestly, officer, but these ere' darn Immigrants stole my job, thats why I had to turn to drug dealing.")

I used to talk to a woman from the UK and she told me that they are usually put on government assistance like our welfare and that's why they have so many that go to the UK cause they will hardly be turned away.
The first place they go to is a detention centre where the Home Office intervene and decide what is best for them. They investigate the circumstances of them arriving in the country. If they are from a war torn country then chances are they will be screaming asylum and then the Home Office has to look at what would happen if they were deported. If it is decided that they were in danger by being deported then they will be allowed to stay and would qualify for a lot of benefits UK folks get. If they are pleading asylum and they are not at risk of danger being sent home then they are deported. Many put in appeals which allows them to stay a little longer.
I don't agree with how the system works, but us UK folks have little chance of changing things.
they usually give them a fully furnished house, a car and benefits whilst the overburdened hard working taxpayer has his taxes increased, his house broken into with little prospect of the perpetrators being caught, and ends up paying for private healthcare for his ill children because there is a 2 year waiting list for the operation they need if they want it on the national health service

also they are better looked after than true brit's.
we bend over backwards to help them settle here, new home, free hospital treatment, free schooling,free benefits,and should they be unlucky enough to be asked to leave, they get onto the European court of Human rights, who then say we cant evict them from our country because of the risk of them being tortured in their own country, never mind what crimes they have committed in their country, we have the pleasure of keeping them, and guess who's paying for them ? the good old British tax payer, who is entitled to nothing and is given no rights what so ever.
We usually apologise to them, for no reason. We then hand them a nice cheque, and point them in the direction of the benefits office. We then get the police to arrest someone English, and preferably white and professional, and make them look like monstersm, because deep down we have a sense of self loathing.
We give them a new house, new car, benefits, even more benefits to send to their families back home, an entire army of hand wringing bleeding heart liberal hippy tree hugging social workers and lawyers to explain their rights to them, and then we let them stay regardless of wether they are entitled to or not.
Marvelous isn't it.
