If the bill never passes what if anything do you think should be done then?
Answer:
Secure our borders first...I don't think building a fence is going to stem the flow but it's a start. Either implement our National Guard as Border patrol agents or hire more. Cameras all along the borders, air patrol etc.
all illegals currently here who have no other record aside from illegally coming into the country should be given the chance to become legal. They should pay hefty fines. If they aren't willing to pay the fines or don't want to become legal then they should be deported.
loosen up on our current process for becoming legal. The main problem illegals come here is because the process for becoming legal is almost impossible. Background checks should be done and medical checks. If they are upstanding citizens and they don't have any diseases then they should be given a chance to come legally. They shouldn't have to pay thousands and thousands of dollars for visas because obviously they are too poor and need to come here to take care of their families. If any of them commit crimes while in the US, depending on the severity they should be deported...Rapist, murderers, burglarers, bank robbers...the little misdemeanors shouldn't count against them being deported.
They should at least attempt to learn english. They should obey all of our laws and not treat our country like it is mexico.
By legalizing all current illegals they will be able to get government ids..ie. licenses.that way we will be able to track them and it will be much easier to deport them if they commit heinous crimes.
arrest the illegal ones and charge them of a federal crime then if that does not work go straight to the death penalty
if you want a better life pay the price im getting sick of paying taxes to illegal activities
They need to enforce the laws that are already on the books.
go back where your family came from
i think it will only pass as long as all the crazy conservative nutjobs die
No there is a way by lobbying our congress to ensure the administration does enforce the current laws and also writing the White House to enforce the laws. We should not give up to just add more laws that can be neglected.
First, close the border. Second, penalize the businesses that employ illegals. If there are no jobs, they will leave. Third, vote for new senators and representatives that will enforce the current laws.
1.) Seal the border. Now. 2.) Any illegal arrested for anything -- instant deportation 3) Any employer knowingly hiring illegals is fined and jailed. 4) End the anchor baby nonsense. 5) End the practice of once you're in, your 50 nearest relatives get a free pass in. 6) Cut the bureaucratic BS that delays people applying for citizenship the legal way 7) Anybody that overstays their Visa never gets another one.. 8) Any "sanctuary city" doesn't get a dime of Federal funding for roads, housing, food stamps, etc...
What's wrong with enforcing the Laws on the books?
The easiest way to control illegal aliens and rounding up the millions here is so simple: Put A special Police force to task, arresting and seizing bank accounts, and jailing and deporting to work. Many many people who are legitimate Americans who have a birth certificate and whose parents are here through legal channels or by origin need JOBS.
This is not insurmountable problem---numbers wise---YET---
but the longer we wait the worse it gets.
I hope the Bill fails because I thought we already fought that war with Mexico and they wanted independence. So they're free as citizens of Mexico to use all that strong labor force and make Mexico a better country. Leave us alone. We'll do just fine without them. And in the interim, Let the Mexican Round Up Begin!
Keep the pressure on the politicans until they start enforcing current laws. Start deporting.
take over and kick every white racist prick out
yep yep sounds like a plan to me
mass deportation, it happened once and worked. we can do it again. in the town i live in truck drivers are dropping of illegal mexicans at a truck stop and leaving them there. I'm going to have fun writing to my gov.
