We have been done a massive disservice by successive governments. At least thatcher wouldn't have allowed it (I never thought I'd say that!)

"Multiculturalism" will lead to the decline of western civilization as we know it. Islam and 3rd world countries are nightmares and to try and make a society lean in that direction is an outrage. Good luck to the great people of the UK and hopefully this sets a precedent for the US to follow.

I agree with minutewoman if you want a good objective ask people relevant to the topic.But to best try and answer your question, I would say try not to rise above multiculturism and try to rise up to what is best for your nation,if people dont respect your nation its rules and customs then you should do everything you can to try and relay that to your politicians so they can do their job as to the wishes of the people.
well, too bad the now defunct british empire actually had a hand in making the rest of the world a third world mess. how do you think your country prospered? imperialism has done a fine job of exploiting these now impoverished third world countries. and now these people are on your doorstep seeking a better life. all I can say is, what goes around comes around, mate. learn your world history and stop being such a hypocrite.
There will never be a referendum on this subject as they know they would lose.
It is not racist to resist changing Britian through immigration, if it was racist then by that same standard Ghandhi & Mandela were racists for wanting to keep their countries and cultures homogenous.

Multiculturalism = Bad, to be very blunt
Diveristy and variety throughout the world is great. But why does it have to be throughout countries. If i want to see mosques, i should have to book a flight to the middle east. The way things are now i just have to book a bus ticket up north.
Obviously certain cultures are not meant to be mixed together. Its like trying to mix oil and water. It would be wonderful if this was the case but it seems to be the opinion of to many 'open minded' liberals who have had too many disco biscuits.
We should except and repsect the diveristy of the world. But that dosent mean mixing it all together. Im sure theres 52 people that would agree with me. But they died in july 2005.
