Immigration in the UK question?
I do, but do you agree?
Answer:
Part of the problem is that too many people use the immigration issue solely to express their racist views.
You can't expect to express racist views, whatever the context, without being called racist!
YES
I agree 100%,
Without a shadow of a doubt.
yup that's the weapon they try to use to make people shut up. fortunately people are now seeing for themselves just what integration of the EU really means and the tide in this country is changing, and not before time
nope, people discuss it ALL the time. i dont think it racist, just getting bored of all the talking. if immigrations gonna get cut, less talkin please more action. im from an immigrant family & even i can c theres a problem & if the gov dont sort it out, the idea of racial harmony may as well be flushed down the loo
I completely agree. The racist thing has gone over the top. It's not to do with race - it's to do with sheer numbers that's all but they always pull that card out!
Immigration really has gone 10 times over the top and is very unfair to indigenous UK people. This is creating racism where little existed before.
We just want to preserve what we have taken centuries to build, it is not rocket science or racism despite wackos like George Galloway wanting 10 of millions of immigrants to come here.
I agree, people are scared to speak out but they should speak out or allow the UK to become like the places the immigrants come from
i agree because as with any other subject in this country if you speak the truth you are regarded as racist and bigoted. good question BTW.
yes
Labour and the rest of the Euro mob are keen to leave the floodgates open as they know the only way to stay in power is to have enough immigrants voting to keep the door open and to destroy the UK as a nation, they want us to be a State in Europe. How very silly of them.
What is happening now will lead to Blood on the Streets in one form or another, I am no racist in fact I am married to a Jamacain english born woman and let me tell you she's had enough of the immigration policies of the Labour government.
The UK having had an empire and now being part of a commonwealth was always going to have immigration and although we have had problems with racist sections on the whole people who have come here from India and the carribean are accepted and are hard working members of our country, what is happening now that is causing the problems is the Muslems and European freeloaders.
European freeloaders are just here to get the cash and are doing real damage to the inferstuctures of thier own countries.
The Muslems declared war on us a while back and never want to intergrate. Goverment policy here needs to change and have all of them deported and as for Muslem born Brits if they will not accept the rule of law in this country then out you go as well.
This does not make me a racist it makes me a person that worries about the state that the UK is getting into.
I earn about 11.50 an hour .ok.
An immigrant will work for less.
There goes my job.
Good economics govenment wise.
Pay immigrants minimum wage.
Break down pay structure of country.
Do what I say..lol.
Happy pay day..
you are 100% correct, people take any criticism of immigration as a racist comment.
i also agree with the other reply that the afro-carribean blacks have found a place in the UK, they work hard and get stuck in and you never seem to hear of them complaining and wanting more and more....and these were the people that took all the REAL racist crap.
us older members of society were brought up in a totally different era, to coin a phrase we called 'a spade a spade' (this was and imho still is a non racist comment) we said what we felt, in my teens there was one solitary chinese take away in the whole area, a black person was unheard of, the corner shops were all owned by whites and if you wanted a take away you went to the local chippie.
walk along any main street now and you find chinese/indian/korean/hal-al(?... parlours you name it.
times have changed dramatically over the last 30 years, younger people find it easier to accept other races.
having said that, the country in general is slowly finding a voice, the BNP (for all their down sides) are picking up votes they would never usually get simply because no one else seems to want to do anything.
i took a driving job and in the 5 years i was doing it, i realised just how many asians there are in the country, most people would get one hell of a shock if they drove round the areas i did.
i dont count myself as racist, but sometimes things have to be said and it is time those in power started to listen.
i can see a time when the country is divided and possibly a civil type war, i hope it does not come to that but i feel it is getting closer.
Immigration has changed the UK. I'm not afraid to speak the truth, and most people i discuss this with agree with me. I don't believe the word "racist" has a definition,it's just a self-defense tactic. If someone said to me"Ah you white people, your criminally minded religious fanatic's that smell bad. Your people have done nothing for the world". Now if i cried "racism" then it would show my insecurity in my race. But if you notice this comment doesn't apply to white people. If this was said using a non-white then its "racist". So,are the BNP racist, sorry i don't understand that word.
Yes I do agree with you.
Yes they are, their too frightened of being labelled or some one having a go at them, that they will not speak out, I on the other hand could not give a flying f**k, don't just cut the amount pouring in, stop it completely and send back all the failed and illegal immigrants back, I was never racist, but this government has made such a mess of this country and we are so overloaded with foreigner's, that I have been pushed to the far right wing, the state of this country now fills my heart with hate, Enoch Powell was right, but nobody listened, now we pay the price.
Yes is the short answer. However what has taken place in Britain was wrong for the person immigrating because they were not informed of the state of the country, jobs, etc prior leaving their country. Britain wronged these people.
Now you know the reasons the British people have also been wronged by its own government policy about immigration.
Shortsightedness and no doubt lots of money coming in for no policy changes.
