Do I need a permit (I 191 form) to leave country if I have a green card?

Just got the green card and I want to know if I need additional documents to leave the country ( like the permit I 191).

Answer:
Check with your immigration dept. they should know. good luck.!!
Get your passport stamped with the immigrant visa (that's what you actually get by becoming a permanent resident, not merely the approval of status). The immigrant visa is what lets you re-enter the US when you come back. You might also hang on to your I-485 approval notice. NOTE: with all immigration documents, keep originals super safe and COPIES (including a copy of your passport, especially helpful if yours gets lost or stolen) in a SEPARATE safe place (fireproof safe, bank safe deposit box).

Make sure you don't stay out of the US too long or they will consider your GC abandoned (which is why you might otherwise want to get an advance parole).
No.
