Don't know much about afro-mexicans, but generally I try not to judge what I think of someone based on their race.

I think afro-mexicans have very nice hair.
They can't be both. However, they have a long history of a minority population of Mexicans of African decent.
There are not many Afro Mexicans..There was no slavery in Mexico..I embrace people of all races.

They are just Mexicans and Americans.
Why do people insist on calling them Africans. The great majority of them don't know Africa, they have never been there, they probably are not interested in going there and never will.
