That being said I doubt canada wants to 'unify' as you put it and mexico is a financial liability that there isnt the money to pay for.

No. Why do we want to take on the problems of Mexico and Canada when we can't solve many of our own? Furthermore, which form of government would it be? I don't think Americans want to go back to answering to England. We kind of fought a war so we didn't have to.
England and France now regrets it. France is trying to get out of the Union and The English is mad at all the Polish flooding in. We can't have a union when one country is economically and culturally different. Canada maybe fine, but their politcal clout would shrink. The thing is that these unions are used by the rich to prey on poor nations. It hurts the workers from the rich and poor nations.
Well, I think it will be a reality.Just give it about 10-20 years.
