For some reason I don't hear a lot about Mexico helping out in Iraq. Doing that would make Mexico an ally. I don't remember hearing about Mexico sending troops to Europe, Asia, or anywhere in the Middle East as an American ally. We share the things you mention either by circumstance or by mistake but not necessarily by choice. Americans generally won't agree that any of this is true.
sure, but Americans don't go breaking the laws of Mexico. if Americans want to live in Mexico, they go through the proper channels. That is what it means to respect the laws of your neighbors.
Oh, and like 55Spud said, we aren't really allies, and I wouldn't even say trade partners. Exactly what is Mexicos major expot to the US? Besides people, crime, dope and racism? I've heard a lot of so called Mexicans on here calling Americans racist. Just what is your major export? Free trade with Mexico merely amounts to the US sending jobs and factories to Mexico, and Mexico sending Mexicans here to take American jobs and depress wages. Then there is the trucking thing, where you can bring cargo into the US, and not be checked until you get to kansas, then they go on through to canada. doesn't help the economy here very much.

Mexico is a leech that sucks on America's prosperity. Their is no real economy there. It is all based off of robbing Americans, stealing money, and sneaking into our country illegally and taking jobs from Americans.

Sorry..I don't share in your fond beliefs of Mexico. I mean ally? Being on the border of that country has been nothing but trouble. Drugs, cartels, violence....a pain in the back-side. And being since I've been enlightned about the "for the race, only for the race"...being an ally means nothing to me when I see how easily they would sell us out for a buck and how little they seem to care about anyone other than their own.
