Angel de la Guardia means Guardian Angel. I am Mexican-American. I am against illegal immigration, I'm not against immigration. You have every right to voice your opinion, I would never stop you from doing that. I don't think that Americans in general are trying to stop you from that otherwise all those pro-illegal immigration marches would have never taken place. I think you are taking a huge leap on the basis of your question here.

Opposing all immigration is certainly a position that is at odds with America's history and values. Opposing illegal immigration, however, is perfectly reasonable, and the vast majority of Americans oppose illegal immigration and Amnesty, while supporting legal immigration, and embracing the diversity that legal immigrants bring with them.
Many of us oppose Amnesty because we want to reward legal immigrants with citizenship, and bring in /more/ legal immigrants than we are now. Currently, illegals are intering the country at twice the rate of legitimate immigrants. If we could eliminate illegal immigration, we could accomodate twice as many real immigrants with less strain on our infrastructure and society.
Wouldn't that be wonderful?

I think i agree with this because of the fact that they try to make their points seem very negative and then it's a discussion about how they hate or need to deport all Mexicans. (they only pick on Mexicans).
