Portuguese Citizen becomming Naturalized in US.?

My parents, both of whom are over 50 years old, have been in the United States as Permanent Residents for over 22 years. They have both been waiting until reaching 50 years old to get naturalized due to the fact that they won't have to take some portions of the naturalization test. To my understanding, they don't have to write, read, or speak english to get naturalized becuase they are over 50 and have been here for over 20 years. My father speaks better English than my mother, but still doesn't understand 100%. Is it correct that they only have to take the written Civics Test, and they could take it in Portuguese (their native language)? If so, where could i find practice questions/answers in Portuguese for them to practice for this civics test? Also, will they need to ever speak, read, or write in order to become naturalized (like at the sworn in cermony)?

Answer:
Yes. If you parents are over 50 and have been living in the US as lawful permanent residents (green card) for more than 20 years they can request a waiver of the English language test. They also have the option of taking the civics test in a language other than English.

Here are some materials in English and Spanish:

If the waiver of the English language test is granted they will not need to ever speak, read or write in order to become naturalized.

In my experience, the current English language test is designed to test very basic understanding of the spoken and written language e.g. "Tell us where you live" or "Write down "The car is red"

Hope this helps.
Won't be a problem because the English for naturalization is a basic English that even an a Pre-K kid can answer.
Civics to me was verbal. And from the 10 I answer the 10.
Writing test is about everyday life. A sentence or 2, at the Internet or any immigration office I recommend it because is updated the way they ask the questions. I just done it so.
I think is 60 and up for what I can remember.
When they send the aplication they will send them back forms and some kin of book to study and if they ant to start early to study then from the internet. And you can call or find out in the Internet about the age.
