Will this affect my US visa? im a minor?
Answer:
what? This is not so clear...
Talk top your parents, either they know and will tell you or they can ask the immigration.
Hi Ella,
My name is Rumen, I work at Immigroup, a Canadian immigration firm. Let me see if I can help you. First of all, if you are applying in a US consulate in Canada on your own, this will not affect your parent's application. But, if you get denied, this is a good indication that your parent's may be denied as well if your entire family's status timelines are the same. I know this is a little confusing but to put it simply, if you are a permanent resident of Canada and you have been in the country for over a year and you have been working or going to school, your chances (and your family's) are very good.
If you have any further questions get a hold of your local embassy or consulate. If you are in Canada, you can check the US Government Visa site at http://www.nvars.com
If you would like help (but for an extra fee) call us at (416)962-2623 or visit our website at http://www.immigroup.com
Best of luck,
Rumen.
