Is this a pretty fair write up of Bush's position visa vis the immigration issue?

What do you think? I know it isn't just a Repubilican issue, this is just focussing on his split in ideology with the party voters.

What do you think?

Answer:
I think it explains Bush to the fullest. I heard this morning that Republicans would listen to what he had to say, but they were not changing their minds to appease him or the others to pass this, and have it signed.

Still I'm keeping the pressure on to make certain of that.

In the end - we'll have to wait and see.
Thank you for the link.
Interesting reading.
Yes, I think it's fairly accurate.
Bush's position is based on cronyism, not the best interests of the American electorate.
We must continue to support the legislators who oppose amnesty for illegal aliens.
We must continue to lobby those who support it.
We must continue to speak out for AMERICA's FUTURE!
This is a national issue with consequences for every American if it is passed. I think this article, and the news blurb I just saw of President Bush only serve to point out how far out of touch he and his inner core of people are to their own party AND Country.

Now we hammer the Legislators for real, and FINALLY stick a fork in this mess.
