I certainly do! I have many examples to give. The Visa lottery is mostly given to countries of white nationals,such as Eastern Europe. Most of the Cubans given assylems(in the 80s) were the white Cubans(who first fled Cuba), then the USCIS stopped allowing Cubans to come & started using the policy of returning them back before the hit the shores of Miami, once they were black dominated Cubans. Never allowed the Haitians in, but yet the US Gov. agreed that they live under dictatership. If u visit the USCIS , 85% of applicants are others than white. If u visit the citizenship graduation cermony(approved applicants), 85% are white. As a Russian girl who commited marriage fraud, once told me, the USCIS will approve her application cauz they never deny white applicants. That speaks for itself, i think.
Please, i'm also white, but i believe in fairness & like to think that segregation & racism are things of the horrible past of America.

Every country has the right to choose which immigrants it wants to admit and which it does not. Immigration policies of any country are based on its manpower/skills need and not on humanitarian reasons.

During the early period of industrialization and when the traditional heavy (smokestack) industries were at their peak, we needed a lot of manual labor and therefore, people with very little skills were admitted. That gave the false impression that we wanted to say to the world: "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free..." This was an idealistic view of immigration that really never existed. It couldn't. We'd have a billion people at our doorstep!

Your analysis is partially correct but not entirely. East Asians (Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese...) and South Asians (Indians, Pakistanis) have had no problems getting into our country, as long as they have skills and/or sponsoring relatives. They certainly are not white.

Cubans were admitted earlier because they represented the intelligentsia and the middle class with skills and it was a correct decision based on what they have accomplished once they got here. Haitians were not and are not as wanted since those allowed in have not distinguished themselves as citizens: they have no education and skills and are not easily assimilated.

We are a nation and a first class power, not a charity organization or a refugee camp .
