I wear prescription glasses and when I went to get a passport photos, I get a glare. How to avoid it?
Answer:
I'd think that they'd have tips for you there, but in any event maybe just tilting your head down a little will prevent the light source from directly reflecting off your lenses.
yeah, just went and checked it out. found this:

oh, don't use a flash. have an good overhead light source and/or a well sunlit room.

If you have an old pair of glasses, or if the lenses in your glasses will pop out without breaking them, you could try only wearing the frames while taking the picture. If this isn't an option you could try to drop your head just a wee bit, enough to stop the glare ( this isn't always an option, because you may get shadows or a double chin) or reach behind your ears and push up on the frame that wraps around the ear. That will force the glass to tilt downward and reduce or stop the glare. It usually isn't noticeable in the photos at all. It accomplishes the same results as having to tilt your head down.
Hope this helps
