Why does no one complain about other countries immigration policies?
Why is it always America is evil? Why is it Americas place (supposedly) to take care of everyone in the world and cough up cash when our own citizens are getting the short end of the stick (reduced college tuition for illegals? come on...) and suffering?
Answer:
Because America has allowed and rewarded victim mentality drama junkies to selfishly whine like spoiled little rich girls for a long time without rational response.
Mexican laws require that you speak the native language, and there are NO SPECIAL BILINGUAL PROGRAMS FOR THOSE THAT CAN'T SPEAK SPANISH (and I can PROMISE you there would be hell to pay if an American had the disrespectful audacity to suggest the Mexican national anthem be sung in English - we should have executed those who suggested that here for treason). You CANNOT reap ANY taxpayer benefits - NO FOODSTAMPS, NO WELFARE, NO GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE. Unskilled workers are NOT allowed - you must be a skilled professional or financially stable investor, and if you invest it must be an amount equivalent to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage. Foreigners CANNOT protest, CANNOT wave foreign flags, CANNOT bad mouth government policies, CAN NEVER vote. Furthermore, the Mexican government is currently funding programs to HELP ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS find FREE U.S. FUNDED HEALTHCARE, EDUCATION, etc. ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS are HUNTED DOWN, imprisoned, and surely deported. When people attack American laws while not attacking those which are much harsher, they show their own prejudice, partial stance, and selfish bias.
It is not American immigration policies people are really attacking - it is America. I'm getting to the point where I wish we could go farther than just not granting amnesty - let's start prosecuting and punishing down right TREASON.
Well m aybe you need to to to YA mexico or YA france and see what they say about it.
I, on a rare ocasion seen some complaints of England. The problem with the European nation, is it seems hopeless for a nation to control it. The immigration rules are partially regulated by the EU. The English is now complaining that they can't stop the flood of Polish immigrants.
As for France. The immigrants are complaining about the new Presidents attitude towards immigrants.
I agree 100% with kentuckygal. All of this stuff is getting old. America needs to offer assistance and tuition breaks to it's own people before illegals. What the government doesn't understand is that it's own people (what they call their increasingly dying middle class) is struggling. Yet, they seem to want to give the benefits away to others. Kind of messed up!
i know right, and then most of them go into this "double standard" crap. we are not like those other countries (thank god). and we are not about to be like those countries, or even think of adopting their immigration laws.
G'day,
How about other countries that you've never heard of... like Indonesia. Lots and lots of boatpeoples (from Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos) that never see the place outside their detention center since they have arrived. I reckon there are children who have been born there and never see anything other then the detention center.
Australia also has its' own share of criticisms. There are so many boatpeople arrived in Australia, that Australia's on-shore detention centers are overcrowded and now using other countries' land to make the detention center.
Nothing's perfect in this world :(
