How can America work with other cultures that seem to hate us? Or should we?

Answer:
America has worked with other cultures for generations. There will always those amongst us that refuse to.
But, the difference is how they came here.
If they come legally fine if they are illegal we will not work with them.
What kind of cultures are you talking about?
I think we should at least try to be a little more diplomatic with them, rather than take the path of "You're either with us or against us." That certainly hasn't worked. America always used to take the moral high road. I think we need to get back to that. On the other hand, we shouldn't have to take a bunch of flack from certain countries either. Good question.
No, we shouldn't. We can put a lot of pressure on them in many ways. They need us, we don't need them. Would you work with your neighbor if he hated you? Not me.
HOnestly people seem to hate on everyone who is a citizen like me they are racist just becaise i speak spanish and look latina does not make me a alien. american does not hate me it's the american people who are innorant...
I don't think we should. If you don't like America or it's citizens shut up and get out.
We're damned if we do and damned if we don't so I'd rather be damned for doing the right thing wouldn't you?
Average Americans are ignorant about anything beyond their borders, that is why National Geographic is working with the Education System to improve knowledge of other cultures and geography because I have had Americans tell me that Mexico is in Central or South America, when in fact it is part of North America, or that we are all banana republics, or drug dealers, or dirty or highwaymen, criminals, etc. They seem to be unable to differentiate between a Vietnamese and a Malaysian, they're all Asian to them, and all muslims are crazy fundamentalists. I believe knowing the rest of the global community would help broaden their outlook.

I hate it when, although I speak English better than most Americans, and I'm a college graduate, have travelled and handle diversity and tolerance at all times, the fact that I'm Mexican suddenly drops my IQ forty points in their eyes, and I must be Indian, dark skinned and a potential illegal, when in fact my dad was American, but I did not look to become one, my skin is fair and my eyes are green, my education is above average, but I am Mexican, therefore inferior.

I do not hate Americans, but I do understand that if you treat others in such a way that shows how much you despise them, do not expect to be treated differently. That is called reciprocity.

America needs to reach out and recognize there is a world out there, their lives would be a lot richer.

And I do not approve of illegal aliens anywhere, but we do have to recognize that both Mexico and the USA turned a blind eye on the problem until it just got too big to ignore.
it depends on what countries you are talking about. you should have been more specific.
