Usually I stay from conspiracy, but this one is more rooted in truth than in fiction. And the bottom line is just that, their bottom line, more money for those at the top, no middle class, a large pool of uneducated, poorly skilled masses. That's why this amnesty was so important to the elite both here and in Mexico. Only time will tell if it comes to pass, but the powers that be want it and I do think that they are going to let a little thing, like whether or not it is good or fair to the middle class stand in their way

Great question! So they are trying to enact more of a EU type of arrangement between Canada, Mexico and the US by 2012. The scope of this is looking like it would initially be open borders for trade and travel, but could easily include a common currency or shared military burden.
I really think the US people need to keep an eye on how this all plays out because it has the potential of really sneaking up and hitting us. Do I think that anything more than open travel or trade would occur? No. I think the majority of America would oppose such measures.

Bush signed an agreement several years ago with Canada and Mexico. Ever since then our borders have been open. They were being enforced somewhat before but now any border patrolman that does his job ends up in prison.
All these changes are being made slowly enough that the average American hardly notices. Our constitution is being replaced by international law and a world court system. Next they are causing the total collapse of our dollar and they will pose as our saviors with the Amero north American union currency. The police state we are in will become much worse as our rights are completely striped away. RFID chips for everyone that wants to eat or have a house and car. Anyone not following their orders will be shipped off to one of the many FEMA concentration camps. The only fly in the ointment for them is the 160 million American gun owners. If they try to take our guns we will know now is the time to find out why we have the 2nd amendment!
At this time it can still be settled peacefully if enough people wake up and take action. We stopped the amnesty bill at least for now and can do it again if we just remain ever vigilant of their actions. We must become more aggressive in pursuing things like the Cheney impeachment, stopping the war, bringing our troops home and repealing all the country killing legislation like the patriot act.
Only if business can benefit from such a union.
Study your history. This country was founded on a rich men revolting. They didn't want to though. They wanted representation, a say in the taxation. When denied, they declared Independence, not war. King George brought that on later.
So... if business can gain from such a merger, expect it to happen. Governments will word smith something and the spin doctors will have the tail waging the dog.
