That's exactly my point. If they really wanted to be a part of our beautiful country. Why don't they have pride and learn the language of the land. Try to be the better persona that they claim to want to be.
There are so many hard working immigrants that probably deserve "citizenship" There is just too much that needs to be sorted out. Its not fair that they all just get a green card.

It is the dumbest thing I've seen. THe protest on may 1st 2006, I actually thought Mexico won a soccer game, by the way they acted. I didn't find out it was a protest until I heard all the people complaining about it. THe rpoblem with it, was that they made no definete demands.
As to why, there seems to be some sinister plat behind it. The bulk of the protestors are too stupid to realize that May 1st has a special meaning to America. Unfortunately the youth has forgotten it. May 1st is called may day, and it is traditional use to show hatred towards America and our form of government. It mainly used to celebrate communism, but has become something more. COmmunist and Anarchist has use this day to perform violent acts to disrupt our country. The Black Panther themselves has used this day to demonstrate hatred towards America as well. Some of the leaders of the protest purposefully use this day to make a statement hey hate us.
In no matter what nationality there are people who, complain , and call names, I wouldn't take it personal. There are people who were born citizen and act the same way, It's the person not the people on a whole.
You are right. What is interesting they had a survey in Mexico's major cities a few years back regarding their views on the USA and Americans over 70% blame us for their problems.
That is what brain washing has done to them so it is understandable that the ones coming here think that way.
Passing the blame for failure is a human reaction.
Governments/ country leaders are no different.
It is hard being a failure living next door to a country that has been the most productive successful country in the world adding to the bad history we have with them.
Many still believe we stole this country from them. Really is even if they did still had southwest as they claim the only difference would be Mexico would just have a large land mass everything else would be the same a non working economy.
