im in germany at the moment looking for a job,finding it hard and money is running low.im irish but because of eu and such can i claim over here?

I doubt it, most otrher EU countries require you to have been paying into their systems before you can claim. Its certainly the case for us in Spain, because we have not paid into the system, we cannot claim any benefits, and quite rightly so, if you have not fully supported the country you have decided to live in, why should they bail you out when your money runs low
If your Country has a reciprical agreement with Germany regarding state help, you may be entitled to claim the equvalent of their unemployment benefit. They will also assist you with fnding a job.
Not sure if their government is as stupid as ours, you can but try though.
