this is a tough one because some of the mexicans that have come to this country are providing a valuable service to us. along with the good ones have come less scrupulous ones.
should we make mexico and canada the 51st and 52nd states?
that might make it easier to patrol our borders. yes it would increase the # of crimials in the united states. but it would also increase the number of good people. the u.s then could implement the systems to clean up the mexican water systems and their other infrastructures, thus putting the less fortunate in mexico the opportunity to get jobs making their country a better place to live.
so fences i am not so sure about. i think i would lean toward state hood so we can moniter more closely their bad guys.

Yes! Just an High voltage electric fence will do though. Although some illegal aliens will eventually get over the fence once the pile of fried bodies piles up high enough.
Maybe your idea is not so bad as a back up fence. The illegal immigration problem would certainly be cured! A Nobel prize?
Nope. Just shoot them. I lost my fiancee to a drunk illegal with no insurance or license. Yes I know that this could have easily been an American, but with the amount of illegals in this country on the roads, and the drinking culture of Mexican, the chances are a hell of a lot greater for this to happen. This is starting to happen a lot more in this country and I hope you never have to deal with what I have dealt with. Maybe when you grow up, you will see the entire picture that illegal immigration problem has and will continue to create. What has it created? Unaccountability!!! Seems to be a growing problem within this country.

Seriously. I want a fence. Not the crocs though, or land mines. Just interior enforcement and dismantling of benefits and employment magnets. Let's keep this nice and simple because our 'Representatives' seem to be easily confused on this issue.
Hell yeah, with armed gaurds, and sharks, and maybe some tigers, and lions, and some landmines.
