If a company knowingly hires and illegal, then they are breaking the law. Should they be held accountable for transportation to send the illegals back across the border?

Concerning your last question, there are federal laws prohibiting the hiring of illegal immigrants, and they are now being enforced on a large scale.

I think many of the jobs these illegals are doing require no applications.
They require the ability to stand behind the corner of the building, run to the pickup truck and hop in the back, work their tails off in the field, get their $10 for the day and sleep.
How many legals are fighting for those jobs? How much would a bag of spinach cost if the farmers paid $15/hr to have it picked?
