First, illegal immigration works against ALL communities in this country, black, white, asian, latino, hispanic, etc.
Of course, it would be just like these so called black leaders to claim that they are being undermined, thats all they do is whine. Every issue is always turned into their issue. They need to stop seperating themselves from the American community, they perpetuate the racial intolerance from the other sectors of our society.

Besides what's the point of spending thousands of our taxes, or their parents hard(LOL earned?). Money on one career THAT PROBABLY WON'T BE SATISFIED WITH OR OBTAIN IF ONE GETS AN ILLNESS(STD,ETC-ETC). Or to waste on representing lawyers once charged with rape,fraud like embezzlement to name a couple?
Illegals generally don't value education, but you're correct, they aren't like black nationalists and thug elements who think of it as brainwashing by "The Man". Undoubtedly, it is working class american citizens struggling to join the american dream, black and white, who suffer the most from illegal immigration.
Obviously the elites are using Brazil as the model - gleaming cities surrounded by tar paper shacks full of untouchables. This middle class, first world experiment has no hold on them at all.

Of what I read, it hurts the African AMerican Community the most. A lot of Mexican-Americans, hate illegal immigrants, because they see it as a direct competition for the same jobs. Others on the hand see it as an opportunity. African AMerican communities sees the middle income class dieing, because of a language barrier and racism. Mexicans who speak Spanish and English can sell to two markets. African AMericans can only sell to the English Market. The Mexican Americans would over power the African American salesman in L.A., because they can drum up more volume in sales. What I heard, from the African Americans I know, THe leaders are failing on their own, and have nothing to do with the influx of illegal immigrants. I do believe the growth of Mexican power and numbers have given the African American community a greater sense of hopelessness. THey do notice that the Mexicans are beginning to succeed, while their middle class has shrunken dramatically. I don't think I'm the only person who believes African Americans seem more prosperous in the 50's. In the last two years, I have met 3 African AMerican females who told me that their father lost their business to big box stores.
It works against all communities so how about if we put black and white issues on the back burner, band together and do something about it?
That is a pretty loaded question! My only thought to you, without sounding ignorant, is that Hispanics and African Americans all come from different cultures. I dont think the hispanic man is really going to understand you either if you tell them they are selling out the man. They are just trying to work for a living, It is not there fault big corporations are so currupt. If anything you should be nailing the coporations... As for black leaders trying to help out by changing the ideals brought on by hip hop culture. Good luck. It is going to take a god to change that, not just a black leader. People are to impressioned by fancy things and money. Greed dear is more powerful than any reform...
