How long once you send off your permanet resident visa does it take,?

I lived here year and half had forms mailed out to me to fill out for permanet visa status, I came in on spousal now is the time to do this, but how long does it take to get back,

Answer:
You need to clarify your question and facts.

You say "I lived here". Where are you now? Where and when the application was filed? And you are filing for PR based on what?
anywhere from 6 months to a year or longer. You'll get your receipt notice after about 3 months, but after that they may RFE etc. Just keep track of your priority date online. And then you'll be able to see when your priority date is current and ready for processing.
