Why don't our people have teeth when we give away billions for education, health care and benefits for those illegally here, about half of whom don't even pay taxes? Without paying taxes, and having us pay for so much, its easy for them to afford teeth.
Obviously, it is the poorest of us who suffer the most from this. It is interesting that Che and Eva Peron can appeal to the left by saying 'we are all [poor people] now', to show their solidarity when the poor are suffering, yet the left leading media will poke fun at our own poor whom they are helping to drive into the dust.

I don't disagree with you. The major media, despite all loud and angry denials, have agendas. Most of them lean to the left, some more than others. Thus, when one of 'their' subjects comes up you will see those on 'their' side looking good, the opposition looking like Charles Manson.

Well, any time they put a picture of one person, you can't say they were insinuating that is the only type of person. If they showed multiple people, all looking the same, then you could say that. But I agree with you, it would probably make the most sense to have a Native American in the picture. They are probably more upset at their lax immigration laws.

Why is everybody saying that ? I think what they are trying to do is show the world (because the New York Times is read worldwide),that regular Americans are affected by illegal immigration and their take on it. You know the rich could care less about it,they benefit from it as a matter of fact.Their gardeners,cooks,and nannies are most likely illegal.
The media now, likes to put a spin on everything. They try to make liberals look like hippies and right wing conservatives look like bible carrying freaks. You just have to remember it is OK to have an opinion and look at things with some objective. Don't take the media so seriously.
I'm very liberal, but I don't go around hugging trees. We as a country need to rise up together and be one. Beside our differences. I believe that anyone has the right to be in this country. After all your grand parents came here from some where else. And if you are using the job issue as an excuse, blame the government for not creating jobs. They are the ones who set standards which create jobs. And this is a racial issue. We are discriminating one race. Mexicans! We don't complain about Polish people or Lithuanians.
